Ethereum (ETH) – Daily Read

$2,401.11
Ethereum is attempting to stabilize at $2,401 after finishing the last session 1.0 percent higher, but the bounce does not yet resolve the underlying weakness because it is down near the floor of its one-month range. The clear view is cautiously constructive rather than outright bullish: the longer trend still points up, yet recent price action remains a pullback that must reclaim nearby resistance before confidence improves. This matters because stabilization near the lower boundary can produce a meaningful recovery, while failure here would turn an orderly retracement into a much deeper reset.
The broader crypto backdrop matters mainly through risk appetite and liquidity, because Ethereum typically needs sustained participation across the asset class to convert a defensive bounce into a durable advance. The instrument-specific pressure is clearer: the one month average is $2,539, price is below it, and the structure reads as a pullback, slipping under the one-month average while the longer trend still points up. Momentum is roughly 3.4 percent down over the last two weeks, which means the latest positive session has slowed the decline without yet demonstrating a decisive change in control.
The nearer round number handles at $2,450 and $2,400 define the immediate contest because they separate stabilization from renewed pressure. Holding around $2,400 keeps the market anchored near current value, while recovering $2,450 would show that demand can absorb supply above the latest close. The one month average at $2,539 is the more meaningful resistance, because reclaiming it would repair the pullback structure and make a retest of the month swing high at $2,766 more credible. That high stands about 15.2 percent above the current price and represents the point where the market would escape its recent ceiling. Below, a shelf of support at $2,324, about 3.2 percent below, is the key defense because it is close enough to be tested quickly if $2,400 fails. The wider three month range of $1,783 to $2,805 shows how much room exists on either side once the present compression resolves.
The bull path is straightforward: if $2,400 continues to hold, then a recovery through $2,450 can challenge $2,539; if price then accepts above $2,539, the pullback loses force and $2,766 becomes the next major test. A decisive move above $2,766 opens the path toward $2,805, because that sequence would clear the month’s ceiling and press against the upper end of the three month range. The bear path is equally clean: if $2,400 gives way and rebounds cannot recover it, then pressure shifts to $2,324. Losing $2,324 exposes $1,783, because the established shelf would no longer separate the current pullback from the bottom of the broader range.
The principal risk to the constructive read is repeated failure below $2,450 and $2,539, because that would show the 1.0 percent higher session was only temporary stabilization. A sustained loss of $2,324 would invalidate the idea that this remains a contained pullback, while a decisive recovery above $2,766 would invalidate the bearish continuation case. Net, Ethereum retains an upward longer-term bias, but the burden is on price to defend $2,400, preserve $2,324, and reclaim $2,539 before the balance shifts convincingly higher.
Key levels: support $2,324 (3.2% below), resistance $2,766 (15.2% above), one-month average $2,539, three-month range $1,783 to $2,805.
