Bitcoin (BTC) – Daily Read

25 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$81,379.48

Bitcoin is stabilising rather than breaking higher, with the last price at $81,379 and the last session 0.3 percent higher, but conviction remains limited because it is trading in the lower half of its one-month range. The clear view is cautiously constructive over the longer horizon and defensive in the near term: the broader advance remains intact, while recent price action shows that demand has not yet regained control. That matters because Bitcoin is close enough to support for the next decisive move to define whether this remains an orderly reset or develops into a much deeper unwind.

The immediate context is a pullback inside a still-rising longer trend. Bitcoin sits below its one month average of $83,119, and the structure reads as a pullback, slipping under the one-month average while the longer trend still points up. Momentum is roughly 1.3 percent down over the last two weeks, which means the latest bounce has not repaired the loss of pace. Crypto remains highly sensitive to shifts in liquidity and broad risk appetite because those forces can amplify moves once price leaves a well-observed range, but the specific issue here is Bitcoin’s failure to reclaim its recent average and challenge the upper boundary.

The first nearby reference is $82,500, which matters because recovering that round number handle would place price closer to the $83,119 average and show that demand is absorbing overhead supply. The $80,000 handle is the nearer psychological floor, but the more important shelf of support is $79,789, about 2.0 percent below. That shelf is defended by its position beneath the round number and by its role as the edge separating consolidation from structural damage. Above, the month swing high at $87,075 is about 7.0 percent above the current price and represents the decisive resistance because it marks the point where the pullback would be fully challenged. The wider three month range of $62,235 to $87,281 shows that price is still near the upper end of a substantial advance, which means weakness below support could travel farther than the calm daily change suggests.

The bull path is straightforward: if Bitcoin reclaims $82,500, then holds above $83,119 and presses through $87,075, the pullback has likely ended because supply at the month swing high has been cleared. A decisive move above $87,075 opens the path toward $89,575, with acceptance beyond $87,281 reinforcing that the three month ceiling has become a base rather than a cap. The bear path begins if $80,000 fails and price cannot quickly recover it, because that would put direct pressure on $79,789. Losing $79,789 exposes $62,235, which means the market would be repricing the entire upper portion of the three month range rather than completing a shallow reset.

The principal risk to the constructive view is acceleration below $79,789, because that would invalidate the idea that longer-term strength is containing the pullback. Conversely, sustained trade above $83,119 would weaken the bearish case, while clearance of $87,075 would invalidate it more decisively. The net take is cautiously bullish above $79,789 but tactically patient below $83,119, because Bitcoin needs to recover nearby resistance before the longer uptrend again deserves full confidence.
