FTSE 100 (UKX) – Daily Read
20 October 2026 | Index | Titan Macro Desk
10,764.7
FTSE 100 (UKX) is trading near 10,765, 1.1% lower on the day and holding in the upper half of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 10,631, and price is above it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has firmed over the last two weeks, roughly 2.5% up, leaving the structure as a recovery attempt, back above the one-month average but still under the longer one. The levels that matter are 10,892 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 1.2% above here, with 10,367 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 3.7% down; the 11,000 and 10,750 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 10,367 and 10,990, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is mixed: a close above 10,892 would open room toward 10,990, while losing 10,367 would put 10,117 back in view.
Key levels: support 10,367 (3.7% below), resistance 10,892 (1.2% above), one-month average 10,631, three-month range 10,367 to 10,990.
