EUR/USD – Daily Read

1.1232
EUR/USD closed the last session near 1.1232, 0.1% lower and trading in the lower half of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 1.1274, and price is below it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has gone quiet over the last two weeks, roughly 0.1% up, leaving the structure as a downtrend, price under both its one-month and longer averages. The levels that matter are 1.1498 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 2.4% above here, with 1.1117 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 1.0% down; the 1.1400 and 1.1200 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 1.1117 and 1.1715, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is bearish: a close above 1.1498 would open room toward 1.1715, while losing 1.1117 would put 1.1000 back in view.
Key levels: support 1.1117 (1.0% below), resistance 1.1498 (2.4% above), one-month average 1.1274, three-month range 1.1117 to 1.1715.
