Ethereum (ETH) – Daily Read

24 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$2,401.11

Ethereum is attempting to stabilize at $2,401 after finishing the last session 1.0 percent higher, but the balance of evidence still favors caution because price remains near the floor of its one-month range. The clear view is that this is a pullback within a longer upward trend, not yet a confirmed reversal higher. That distinction matters because holding the lower range can preserve the broader advance, while failure there would turn contained weakness into a deeper repricing.

The immediate pressure is specific to Ethereum and the wider Crypto asset class: weak short-term participation has left price below the one month average of $2,539, even though the longer trend still points up. Price performance is roughly 3.4 percent down over the last two weeks, which means the latest bounce has not repaired the recent loss of momentum. Ethereum therefore needs renewed demand rather than simple stabilization, because remaining below the average keeps overhead supply in control and leaves rallies vulnerable to fading conviction.

The nearer round number handles at $2,450 and $2,400 define the immediate contest because they separate a constructive recovery from continued compression near the range floor. Sustained trade above $2,450 would show that demand is absorbing supply and beginning to challenge the one month average of $2,539. Holding $2,400 keeps the market balanced, while repeated failure around it would increase pressure on the shelf of support at $2,324, about 3.2 percent below. That shelf matters because it is the final nearby defense against a much wider downside move. Above, the month swing high at $2,766, about 15.2 percent above the current price, is the defining resistance. The broader three month range of $1,783 to $2,805 shows why these boundaries carry weight: Ethereum is still well above the range floor, but remains below the area where a larger breakout would be confirmed.

The bull path is straightforward: if $2,400 holds, then reclaiming $2,450 would improve the near-term tone and place $2,539 back in play because acceptance above the average would indicate that the pullback is being absorbed. If that recovery develops into a decisive move above $2,766, then the path opens toward $2,805, where the top of the three month range becomes the next test. The bear path begins if rebounds fail beneath $2,450 and price returns through $2,400, because that would show demand remains too weak to lift Ethereum away from the range floor. If $2,324 is then lost, it exposes $1,783, which means the market would be shifting from an orderly pullback toward a broader structural decline.

The main risk to the constructive view is a clean loss of $2,324 because that would invalidate the idea that the lower range is being defended. Conversely, sustained strength through $2,539 would weaken the bearish case, while a decisive move above $2,766 would invalidate it more fully. The net take is cautiously constructive above $2,324, but Ethereum must reclaim $2,450 and then $2,539 before the current rebound deserves conviction.
