DAX 40 (DAX) – Daily Read

19 October 2026 | Index | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
25,622.6

DAX 40 (DAX) is trading near 25,623, 0.9% higher on the day and pressing the top of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 25,330, and price is above it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has firmed over the last two weeks, roughly 1.7% up, leaving the structure as a recovery attempt, back above the one-month average but still under the longer one. The levels that matter are 25,801 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 0.7% above here, with 24,793 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 3.2% down; the 26,000 and 25,500 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 24,081 and 26,619, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is bullish: a close above 25,801 would open room toward 26,619, while losing 24,793 would put 24,081 back in view.
