AUD/USD – Daily Read

20 October 2026 | Forex | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
0.6985

AUD/USD closed the last session near 0.6985, 0.0% higher and trading in the lower half of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 0.6978, and price is above it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has gone quiet over the last two weeks, roughly 0.0% down, leaving the structure as a recovery attempt, back above the one-month average but still under the longer one. The levels that matter are 0.7142 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 2.2% above here, with 0.6899 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 1.2% down; the 0.7000 and 0.6800 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 0.6899 and 0.7241, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is bullish: a close above 0.7142 would open room toward 0.7241, while losing 0.6899 would put 0.6800 back in view.

AUD/USD daily chart, 20 October 2026
