Ethereum (ETH) – Daily Read

8 November 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$2,225.49

Ethereum is trading defensively on 8 November 2026, with the last price at $2,225 and the last session change 1.0 percent lower. The key point is not the daily decline alone, but its location: it is down near the floor of its one-month range because repeated weakness at the lower end signals that demand is absorbing pressure without yet reversing it. The near-term view remains bearish while price stays beneath nearby resistance, but downside is not yet confirmed because meaningful support remains close enough to force a sharp contest.

The immediate catalyst is persistent de-risking across crypto, which matters more for Ethereum because its current structure shows little evidence that capital is rotating back into the asset. The one month average is $2,367; price is below it, and the structure reads as a downtrend, price under both its one-month and longer averages. The roughly 7.3 percent decline over the last two weeks reinforces that message because weakness has been sustained rather than confined to one volatile session. The month swing high at $2,584 is about 16.1 percent above the current price, which means a full repair requires substantially more than a modest rebound.

The first tactical handles are $2,250 and $2,200 because price is currently caught between them, making acceptance on either side useful evidence about immediate control. Holding above $2,200 would show that pressure near the range floor is still being absorbed, while sustained trade above $2,250 would begin to loosen the grip of the short-term decline. The more important shelf of support sits at $2,182, about 2.0 percent below, because that is the nearby level separating a defended floor from a deeper range reset. The wider three month range of $1,829 to $2,805 shows how much space exists once either boundary thesis gives way.

The bull path is straightforward: if Ethereum defends $2,200, regains $2,250, and then establishes itself above $2,367, the market can begin rebuilding confidence because successive resistance has turned into support. A decisive move above $2,584 opens the path toward $2,805, which means the month swing high is the real confirmation point rather than merely another rebound level. The bear path is equally clear: if $2,200 fails and price cannot recover promptly, pressure shifts to $2,182; losing $2,182 exposes $1,829 because the nearest meaningful shelf would have broken and the lower end of the three month range would become the natural reference.

The principal risk to the bearish read is a forceful recovery through $2,367 followed by durable strength above $2,584, because that sequence would invalidate the pattern of lower acceptance and restore the upper range as the dominant path. Conversely, a brief move below $2,182 that rapidly recovers would warn against treating the break as decisive. Net, Ethereum remains vulnerable at $2,225 because trend pressure is unresolved, but the proximity of $2,182 makes this a decision zone where confirmation matters more than conviction alone.
