AUD/USD – Daily Read

0.7019
AUD/USD closed the last session near 0.7019, 0.2% lower and sitting mid-range over the past month. The one-month average sits near 0.6979, and price is above it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has gone quiet over the last two weeks, roughly 0.8% up, leaving the structure as a recovery attempt, back above the one-month average but still under the longer one. The levels that matter are 0.7121 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 1.5% above here, with 0.6899 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 1.7% down; the 0.7200 and 0.7000 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 0.6899 and 0.7241, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is mixed: a close above 0.7121 would open room toward 0.7241, while losing 0.6899 would put 0.6800 back in view.
Key levels: support 0.6899 (1.7% below), resistance 0.7121 (1.5% above), one-month average 0.6979, three-month range 0.6899 to 0.7241.
