EUR/USD – Daily Read
5 October 2026 | Forex | Titan Macro Desk
1.1191
EUR/USD closed the last session near 1.1191, 0.6% lower and down near the floor of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 1.1404, and price is below it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has cooled over the last two weeks, roughly 1.7% down, leaving the structure as a downtrend, price under both its one-month and longer averages. The levels that matter are 1.1621 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 3.8% above here, with 1.1166 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 0.2% down; the 1.1200 and 1.1000 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 1.1166 and 1.1715, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is bearish: a close above 1.1621 would open room toward 1.1715, while losing 1.1166 would put 1.1000 back in view.
