Bitcoin (BTC) – Daily Read

24 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$81,379.48

Bitcoin at $81,379 is 0.3 percent higher in the last session, but the more important message is consolidation rather than renewed acceleration. It is trading in the lower half of its one-month range because recent strength has not yet repaired the short-term pullback. The longer trend still points up, so the current weakness looks corrective, but conviction remains limited until price recovers the levels where recent supply has repeatedly interrupted progress.

The macro backdrop matters only insofar as shifting risk appetite and liquidity expectations can amplify crypto volatility, because Bitcoin remains especially sensitive to changes in broader positioning. The instrument-specific pressure is clearer: price is below the one month average of $83,119, and the structure reads as a pullback, slipping under the one-month average while the longer trend still points up. Price progress is roughly 1.3 percent down over the last two weeks, which means the latest session’s gain has not yet reversed the recent loss of momentum.

The first resistance zone is the nearer round number handle at $82,500 because reclaiming it would place Bitcoin back above an area where short-term supply can reasonably be expected to gather. The $83,119 one month average matters next because sustained trade above it would begin to neutralize the pullback and restore confidence in the larger advance. Above there, the month swing high at $87,075, about 7.0 percent above the current price, is the decisive resistance. It also sits close to the upper boundary of the three month range from $62,235 to $87,281, which means strength into that area must absorb both recent and broader-range supply. On the downside, $80,000 is the nearest psychological support, while the shelf at $79,789, about 2.0 percent below, is more important because it is the defined structure separating an orderly retreat from a deeper deterioration.

The bull path is straightforward: if Bitcoin holds $80,000, defends $79,789, and then reclaims $82,500 and $83,119, the pullback should begin to resolve higher because control would be shifting back toward demand. A decisive move above $87,075 opens the path toward $89,575, with the break carrying weight because it would clear the month swing high and move beyond the immediate range ceiling. The bear path begins if $80,000 fails and $79,789 is lost. Losing $79,789 exposes $62,235 because the market would have surrendered its nearest structural shelf, leaving the lower end of the three month range as the major reference point.

The main risk to the constructive view is a failed recovery above $82,500 or $83,119 followed by sustained weakness through $79,789, because that sequence would show that overhead supply remains dominant and invalidate the interpretation of a contained pullback. Conversely, acceptance above $87,075 would invalidate the cautious near-term stance. Net, Bitcoin remains longer-term constructive but tactically restrained, with $79,789 defending the trend and $87,075 controlling the next expansion.
