Bitcoin (BTC) – Daily Read

31 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$76,767.76

Bitcoin is under pressure at $76,768 after finishing the last session 2.8 percent lower, and the immediate bias remains defensive because price is down near the floor of its one-month range. This matters because weakness at the bottom of a recent range tests whether the move is merely a pullback within an advancing longer trend or the start of a deeper repricing. The balance of evidence still favors pullback rather than full trend reversal, but conviction now depends on nearby support holding rather than on the strength of the earlier advance.

The one month average is $82,000, and price is below it, which means the market has lost its recent center of gravity even while the longer trend still points up. Momentum is roughly 5.9 percent down over the last two weeks, confirming that pressure has persisted rather than appearing in a single disorderly session. The macro backdrop matters only insofar as shifts in liquidity and risk appetite can amplify crypto moves, because Bitcoin trades continuously and often absorbs changes in speculative demand faster than traditional assets. Its specific challenge is therefore rebuilding acceptance above the one month average while participants judge whether the current discount is sufficient to revive demand.

The first defense is the shelf of support at $76,265, about 0.7 percent below, because its proximity makes it the clearest test of whether current holders will absorb further pressure. The nearer round number handles at $77,500 and $75,000 also matter: $77,500 is the first area price must reclaim to ease immediate strain, while $75,000 is the psychological backstop that could slow an overshoot beneath support. The month swing high at $87,075, about 13.4 percent above the current price, is the major resistance because recovering it would erase the pullback structure. The broader three month range of $62,235 to $87,281 shows the asymmetry, which means failure near the floor leaves substantial downside space while strength must clear closely stacked upper resistance.

The bull path is straightforward: if $76,265 holds, then stabilization above $77,500 can develop, followed by a recovery toward $82,000 as the market regains its recent balance point. If that recovery becomes a decisive move above $87,075, then the path opens toward $89,575 because the prior month swing high would no longer contain the advance, with $87,281 serving as the final nearby range boundary. The bear path is equally clear: if $76,265 is lost and $75,000 cannot contain the move, then $62,235 becomes exposed because the market would have broken the shelf protecting the lower end of the recent structure.

The main risk to the constructive longer-term view is sustained acceptance below $76,265, especially if attempts to recover $77,500 fail, because that sequence would turn a controlled pullback into a broader range unwind. Conversely, a decisive recovery above $87,075 would invalidate the defensive near-term stance by restoring upward control and opening $89,575. The net take is cautious but not structurally bearish: Bitcoin remains vulnerable below $82,000, yet support is close enough that the next move around $76,265 should determine whether this is exhaustion near the floor or the beginning of a deeper decline toward $62,235.
