XRP – Daily Read
30 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk
$1.26
XRP is attempting to steady at $1.26 after finishing the last session 1.1 percent higher, but the dominant message remains defensive because it is down near the floor of its one-month range. That combination matters: a positive session shows that demand has not disappeared, yet the location of price says the rebound has not repaired the broader damage. The clear view is cautiously bearish until XRP proves it can reclaim lost ground, with near-term resilience treated as stabilization rather than a durable turn.
The specific pressure is persistent weakness across XRP rather than a broad macro story, because the one month average sits at $1.35 and price is below it, while the structure reads as a downtrend, price under both its one-month and longer averages. Momentum is roughly 3.5 percent down over the last two weeks, which means recent holders are still dealing with adverse follow-through despite the latest bounce. In crypto, that matters because confidence can improve quickly when price recovers a well-watched reference area, but failure to do so keeps rallies vulnerable to renewed supply.
The nearer round number handles at $1.26 and $1.24 define the immediate contest because holding around the first and refusing the second would show that the latest improvement has traction. Below them, a shelf of support at $1.20, about 4.2 percent below, is the key defense because it is close enough to attract a serious test, yet important enough that a clean loss would confirm stabilization has failed. Above, the month swing high at $1.55, about 23.0 percent above the current price, is decisive resistance because reclaiming the full monthly decline would force a meaningful reassessment of trend control. The wider three month range of $0.99 to $1.65 provides the consequence map, which means breaks at the nearer boundaries can travel much farther than the calm surface suggests.
The bull path is straightforward: if XRP holds the $1.26 and $1.24 area, absorbs pressure above $1.20, and then recovers $1.35, the market can begin converting a weak bounce into a credible reversal. If that recovery extends into a decisive move above $1.55, it opens the path toward $1.65 because resistance from the monthly range would have yielded and the upper edge of the broader range would become the next test. The bear path is equally clear: if the nearer handles fail and losing $1.20 follows, that exposes $0.99 because the principal shelf would no longer separate current price from the three-month low.
The main risk to the bearish read is a fast, sustained recovery through $1.35, followed by acceptance above $1.55, because that sequence would invalidate the claim that overhead supply still controls the structure. Conversely, brief strength that cannot hold $1.26, or repeated pressure toward $1.24 and $1.20, would reinforce the view that the last session was only a pause. Net, XRP has room to recover but has not earned a bullish conclusion, which means defense of support comes first and proof above resistance must follow before the balance of risk genuinely improves.
Key levels: support $1.20 (4.2% below), resistance $1.55 (23.0% above), one-month average $1.35, three-month range $0.99 to $1.65.
