XRP – Daily Read

13 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$1.37

XRP is attempting to stabilize at $1.37 after finishing the last session 0.3 percent higher, but the balance of evidence still favors consolidation before renewed strength. It is trading in the lower half of its one-month range, which means the latest gain has not repaired the broader loss of position. The longer trend still points up, yet near term control remains contested because price has not reclaimed the levels that would confirm demand is regaining authority.

The central tension is between an intact longer advance and a meaningful short term retreat. The one month average is $1.45; price is below it, and the structure reads as a pullback, slipping under the one-month average while the longer trend still points up. Momentum is roughly 8.4 percent down over the last two weeks, which means the market is still absorbing recent weakness rather than extending cleanly higher. The broader crypto backdrop matters mainly through risk appetite and liquidity, because XRP now needs stronger participation within its own asset class to turn stabilization into a durable recovery.

The nearer round number handles at $1.38 and $1.36 define the immediate contest because they bracket the current price and should reveal whether short term pressure is easing or rebuilding. Holding $1.36 would show that participants are defending the lower edge of this pocket, while sustained acceptance above $1.38 would improve the tone and bring the one month average back into focus. The month swing high is $1.65, about 20.5 percent above the current price, which means it is the major resistance separating a pullback from a resumed advance. A shelf of support sits at $1.25, about 8.6 percent below, because that area is the clearest buffer before the structure risks a deeper reset. The three month range is $0.99 to $1.65, which means both boundaries carry more significance than the nearby handles.

The bull path is straightforward: if XRP holds $1.36, establishes itself above $1.38, and then recovers the one month average at $1.45, the pullback would look increasingly mature because successive layers of overhead supply had been absorbed. If that recovery develops into a decisive move above $1.65, it opens the path toward $1.67, which means the market would be confirming continuation beyond the established range ceiling. The bear path begins if $1.36 repeatedly fails and rebounds cannot clear $1.38. If pressure then reaches and breaks $1.25, losing $1.25 exposes $0.99 because the main shelf protecting the lower boundary of the three month range would have given way.

The principal risk to the constructive longer view is that the recent 8.4 percent decline is not merely corrective. A sustained loss of $1.25 would invalidate the idea that the pullback remains contained, while recovery through $1.45 without progress beyond $1.65 would still leave XRP trapped inside its broader range. Conversely, firm defense above $1.36 followed by acceptance through $1.38 would weaken the immediate bearish case because control would be rotating back toward demand. Net, XRP remains longer term constructive but tactically fragile at $1.37, with confirmation requiring reclaimed resistance and invalidation arriving through failed support.
