$1.29
XRP is attempting to stabilize at $1.29 after finishing the last session 0.5 percent higher, but the move is not yet a convincing turn because price remains near the floor of its one-month range. The clear view is cautiously defensive in the immediate term: the longer trend still points up, yet the current structure is a pullback rather than renewed strength. That tension matters because holding nearby support could preserve the broader advance, while failure there would turn an orderly retreat into a materially deeper reset.
The macro backdrop matters mainly through broad crypto risk appetite, because shifts in liquidity expectations and tolerance for volatile assets can amplify moves around XRP’s nearby boundaries. The instrument-specific pressure is clearer: momentum is roughly 5.4 percent down over the last two weeks, and the last price sits below the one month average of $1.38. That combination shows demand has not regained control of the recent range, which means any recovery must first prove that the slide beneath the average was temporary rather than the start of sustained deterioration.
The nearer round number handles at $1.30 and $1.28 define the immediate contest. Reclaiming and holding $1.30 would matter because it would place price back above the closest psychological barrier and suggest the latest firming has follow-through. Holding $1.28 would show that pressure is being absorbed before the more important shelf of support at $1.27, about 1.7 percent below. That shelf is the critical defense because it separates a shallow pullback from a larger range unwind. Overhead, the month swing high at $1.55, about 20.0 percent above the current price, is decisive resistance because clearing it would demonstrate that the full correction has been repaired.
The bull path is straightforward: if XRP holds $1.28 and $1.27, then reclaims $1.30 and subsequently establishes itself above $1.38, the pullback should begin to look exhausted because price would have recovered both its nearby handles and its one month average. A decisive move above $1.55 opens the path toward $1.65, which is also the upper boundary of the three month range of $0.99 to $1.65. Such a sequence would confirm that the longer upward trend has regained control rather than merely produced a short-lived rebound.
The bear path activates if $1.28 fails and losing $1.27 exposes $0.99, because the market would have broken the shelf currently containing the retreat and opened a much wider downside pocket. That outcome would invalidate the constructive interpretation of the longer trend, especially if attempts to recover $1.27 were rejected. The principal risk to the bearish case is a rapid recovery through $1.38, while the principal risk to the bullish case is continued weakness beneath nearby support. Net, XRP remains a longer-trend advance under short-term strain, with $1.27 defining whether this is containment or capitulation and $1.55 defining whether strength has genuinely returned.
Key levels: support $1.27 (1.7% below), resistance $1.55 (20.0% above), one-month average $1.38, three-month range $0.99 to $1.65.
