GBP/USD – Daily Read

19 September 2026 | Forex | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
1.3394

GBP/USD is trading near 1.3394, 0.0% lower on the day and down near the floor of its one-month range. The one-month average sits near 1.3496, and price is below it, so that line is the pivot the two-way traffic keeps returning to. Momentum has cooled over the last two weeks, roughly 1.1% down, leaving the structure as a downtrend, price under both its one-month and longer averages. The levels that matter are 1.3651 overhead, the past month’s swing high, about 1.9% above here, with 1.3337 below as the shelf that has held, roughly 0.4% down; the 1.3400 and 1.3200 round numbers are the nearer handles. Zoom out and the last three months have ranged between 1.3181 and 1.3675, which frames the bigger picture. For now the tilt is bearish: a close above 1.3651 would open room toward 1.3851, while losing 1.3337 would put 1.3181 back in view.
