XRP – Daily Read
2 October 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk
$1.52
XRP is pressing higher without yet delivering a full breakout. Last price $1.52, 1.4 percent higher on the day, leaves buyers in control, but the modest loss of momentum argues for discipline near resistance. It is holding in the upper half of its one-month range, which matters because supply is being absorbed rather than forcing a deeper reset. The clear view is constructive while price remains above nearby support, with confirmation reserved for a decisive escape from the range ceiling.
The macro setting is less supportive than the price action alone suggests. A global bond sell-off, firm dollar, energy-market stress, and uncertainty ahead of the US jobs report are keeping liquidity-sensitive assets exposed to abrupt changes in risk appetite. Crypto therefore remains vulnerable to rates and broader positioning, even when token-specific demand is firm. XRP is showing relative resilience within that backdrop. The one month average $1.44 sits below price, and the structure reads as a clean uptrend, price above both its one-month and longer averages. That alignment indicates sustained demand, although momentum roughly 0.3 percent down over the last two weeks shows that the advance is consolidating rather than accelerating.
The immediate contest is around the nearer round number handles at $1.55 and $1.50. Holding $1.50 would show buyers are willing to defend the breakout area on shallow weakness, while acceptance above $1.55 would suggest that overhead offers are being cleared. The month swing high $1.65, about 8.7 percent above the current price, is the defining ceiling because it marks the point where the existing range has previously exhausted demand. A decisive move through it would convert resistance into evidence of renewed expansion. Below, the one month average $1.44 is the first meaningful structural checkpoint. The more important shelf of support at $1.25, about 17.5 percent below, is where the broader advance must ultimately be defended. The three month range $0.99 to $1.65 frames the full battlefield and shows how consequential either boundary would be.
The bull path is straightforward: if $1.50 holds, price reclaims $1.55, and buying remains firm into $1.65, then a decisive move above $1.65 opens the path toward $1.70. That sequence would confirm that consolidation has refreshed demand rather than capped it. The bear path begins if repeated failures above $1.55 push price back through the one month average $1.44. If sellers then prevent a recovery and force a test of $1.25, the uptrend would be under material pressure. Losing $1.25 exposes $0.99 because the main shelf would have failed and the lower end of the broader range would become the natural destination for defensive positioning.
The principal risk is macro transmission: renewed bond pressure, dollar strength, or a broad crypto de-risking could overwhelm XRP’s otherwise constructive structure. The bullish read is invalidated by sustained trade below $1.25, while the bearish case loses credibility if price clears $1.65 and holds above it. Net, XRP remains positively structured but not yet fully confirmed, with $1.50 defining near-term control and $1.65 separating an orderly uptrend from a genuine breakout.
