XRP – Daily Read
26 September 2026 | Crypto | Titan Macro Desk
$1.56
XRP is pressing higher with credible trend support, but it is also approaching the part of the range where buyers must prove they can absorb supply. Last price $1.56, 2.2 percent higher on the day. It is holding in the upper half of its one-month range, which keeps the near-term bias constructive. The clear view is that buyers retain control while nearby support holds, but continuation now depends on converting overhead resistance into a durable base rather than merely testing it.
The broader crypto backdrop remains sensitive to shifts in risk appetite, liquidity expectations, regulatory headlines, and positioning across major digital assets. XRP also carries instrument-specific sensitivity to payments adoption, ecosystem developments, and legal or regulatory interpretation. Those forces can amplify moves once established boundaries give way. One month average $1.41; price is above it, and the structure reads as a clean uptrend, price above both its one-month and longer averages. Momentum roughly 11.8 percent up over the last two weeks. That combination suggests the advance has underlying persistence, although it also raises the burden on fresh buyers as price approaches the top of the recent distribution.
The immediate decision area sits around the nearer round number handles at $1.60 and $1.55. Holding $1.55 would show that buyers are defending shallow pullbacks and accepting value near current prices. Establishing above $1.60 would improve the odds of another push into the range ceiling. Month swing high $1.65, about 5.9 percent above the current price. That is the key supply test because it also marks the upper boundary of the three month range $0.99 to $1.65. Rejection there would preserve the range, while acceptance beyond it would signal that supply has been absorbed. A shelf of support at $1.25, about 19.7 percent below. That shelf matters because it separates a controlled retracement within the rising structure from a more serious deterioration in demand.
The bull path is straightforward: if XRP holds $1.55, reclaims and sustains trade above $1.60, then challenges the range ceiling with firm follow-through, a decisive move above $1.65 opens the path toward $1.70. The reasoning is that a confirmed breakout would remove the most visible recent supply and encourage buyers waiting for proof of continuation. The bear path begins if price repeatedly fails around the nearby handles and sellers force acceptance below the one month average. If weakness then extends through the broader structure, losing $1.25 exposes $0.99. That would represent a transition from routine profit-taking into a breakdown of the established range support.
The principal risk to the constructive read is a wider crypto risk-off move or an XRP-specific headline that overwhelms the current price structure. Failure to defend $1.55 would weaken immediate momentum, while sustained trade below $1.41 would challenge the clean uptrend. The bullish thesis is fully invalidated if $1.25 gives way. Net, XRP remains constructive above its core supports, but the best confirmation comes from acceptance beyond $1.65, not from anticipation beneath it.
