NVIDIA (NVDA) – Daily Read

9 September 2026 | Stock | Titan Macro Desk

Last Price
$225.73

NVIDIA is digesting a strong advance rather than breaking trend. The last price is $225.73, 2.0 percent lower on the day, but it remains in the upper half of its one-month range and above the one month average of $220.49. The clear view is constructive while that structure holds. Short-term selling matters because expectations around artificial intelligence remain demanding, yet the pullback has not overturned the clean uptrend, with price above both its one-month and longer averages.

The broader backdrop is less forgiving for growth stocks. Rising energy costs, inflation anxiety, shifting expectations for monetary policy, and pressure from bond yields all raise the valuation hurdle for long-duration technology shares. NVIDIA also carries instrument-specific sensitivities: confidence in artificial intelligence infrastructure spending, customer capital expenditure, product execution, supply availability, and export policy. Those forces can amplify moves in either direction. Momentum roughly 8.3 percent up over the last two weeks shows that buyers have recently controlled the tape, but it also leaves the stock vulnerable to profit-taking when macro conditions challenge premium valuations.

The nearer round number handles at $230.00 and $225.00 define the immediate contest. Holding $225.00 would show that buyers are willing to defend the current breakout area despite the daily decline. Reclaiming $230.00 would indicate that supply from short-term sellers is being absorbed and would refocus attention on the month swing high at $234.76, about 4.0 percent above the current price. A decisive move above $234.76 opens the path toward $236.54, the top of the three month range of $190.01 to $236.54. That would confirm renewed demand at the edge of the established range rather than merely a rebound inside it.

Below, the one month average at $220.49 is the first meaningful structural reference. It should attract buyers if the uptrend remains healthy because it separates routine consolidation from deeper deterioration. The larger shelf of support at $207.37, about 8.1 percent below, is the more important line. It represents the area where medium-term buyers must defend the trend. Losing $207.37 exposes $190.01 and would signal that the market is repricing more than a temporary macro wobble.

The bull path is straightforward: if $225.00 holds, then a recovery through $230.00 can rebuild momentum; if demand then produces a decisive move above $234.76, the market can probe $236.54. The bear path begins if $225.00 fails and $220.49 cannot stabilize the decline. If sellers then force a loss of $207.37, the structure changes materially and $190.01 becomes the downside exposure.

The main risks are a renewed rise in yields, persistent inflation pressure, weaker artificial intelligence spending expectations, execution disappointment, or tighter export constraints. The constructive read is invalidated by sustained trade below $207.37. Net, NVIDIA remains in an uptrend, but conviction now depends on buyers defending nearby support and converting strength above $234.76 into a genuine range break.
