You don’t want to figure out your stop loss after entry.

✅ The 6 Elements of a Smart Checklist
Here’s what to ask yourself — every time:
1. Is Structure Clear?
Are we at a meaningful level?
Are we in trend, range, or compression?
🧠 Don’t trade in noise. Trade where decisions are made.
2. Is Directional Bias Aligned?
What’s the higher timeframe showing?
Does this trade fight or follow the broader flow?
🧠 You can scalp against the trend — but you better have a reason.
3. Is Confluence Present?
Do I have at least 2–3 supporting signals?
Is this more than just a candle pattern?
🧠 Stack confirmations. Don’t lean on one signal alone.
4. Is Risk-to-Reward Acceptable?
Can I place my stop in a logical spot — not a random line?
Is my target realistic — and not based on hope?
🧠 Good R:R can forgive an imperfect entry. Bad R:R punishes even the best ones.
5. Does the Trade Match My Strategy Type?
Is this a scalp, intraday, or swing?
Am I adjusting SL/TP and size accordingly?
🧠 Treat each trade type differently. Don’t blur them.
6. Am I Mentally Clear?
Am I reacting out of boredom or frustration?
Am I trading to win, or trading to trade?
